The Mended Heart Description
Did you know that the Japanese repaired broken pottery by filling it with gold? It emphasizes the fractures instead of disguising them. This method often renders the piece more valuable. This process, art for is called Kintsugi.
The top right of this heart is filled with glass beads which is symbolic of the heart’s fragile nature.
