Releasing Trauma and Negativity

Tips for Releasing Trauma and Negativity

Happy full moon! Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about releasing pint up trauma and negativity as well as pint up emotions.

April 22 Full Moon

Tip #1

  1. You can practice this anytime, but, it is very powerful to do during the full moon, including a couple of days before and a couple after.

Write down everything that you want to release on paper.

  2.  Affirm: I am letting go of negative emotions and attachments. I now choose to forgive, heal, and release it back to the universe.
  3. Safely burn in a fireproof dish (outside or in a fireplace when possible) as you release it back to the universe.
  4. Forgiving does not mean you condone another’s actions or have to let them back into your life. It simply means you are letting go of that hurt and anger so that YOU may move on with your life.

The Moon’s energy affects the tides and also our emotions. That is why this is a powerful time to release.

Tip #2

  1. Take some deep breaths and envision your higher self. This is the person that you truly are. Your soul knows who you are capable of becoming and that there truly are no limitations.
  2. Connect to that person then go give your younger self a big hug, especially the times you needed one. This can be practiced until you feel you have healed.

This is powerful because our subconscious affects our actions. For example, I have caught myself avoiding healthy fruits and vegetables over the winter because they’re often cold and I have cold intolerance.

I hope you have found this information useful and helpful. If you would like to read the inspirational story about how I managed to persevere through multiple traumas, check out my book titled My Wild Life by clicking on this text. These first-run prints are collectible and only available through me. Once they are sold out, there will be a new version available for public purchase.

If you try any of these recommendations, Id’ love to hear from you about your experience.

Wishing you all the best in life,

As seen reflected in her paintings Tina A Stoffel connects deeply with nature, animals, and music. As explained in her upcoming book, creating art has been Tina's lifelong passion. She says creating art has a meditative effect, bringing her peace and happiness where time often seems to disappear. Tina's goal is creating work that brings that same peace and happiness to others along with generating environmental and animal awareness. Her subjects are primarily focused around seascapes, beaches, wildlife and animals. She takes great pride in the quality of her work, often stretching her own canvases and using professional quality artist materials.
