Southern Magnolia Painting Inspiration

Most of my art focuses on animals and water, as a nature artist, all beauty in nature appeals to me, and I can’t think of anyone who doesn’t love beautiful flowers. This Southern Magnolia was inspired by a magnolia bloom right in my own backyard.

Fragrant blooms are my favorite and inspire some of my floral paintings such as my Honeysuckle Scent painting. Others are inspired by their pure beauty such as the Iris Bloom which compliments this painting well.
