Introducing the Purification Goddess Painting

Imagine as you settle into this painting, the chains breaking away from your soul. Visualizing your desires while in a very calm state is said to have positive benefits on your mentality. Also, the act of viewing art has the ability to calm your inner being.

• Please note the lines showing in this photo are simply a photo processing issue with my new computer. There are no lines showing in this painting other than high-quality woven canvas. Meanwhile, I’ll be working on getting a better representation soon.

How this Painting Evolved

Can you see the woman?   This Purification painting is part of a mini-series, titled Purification which was intended to be more abstract in nature. However, once I saw the beautiful woman’s figure appear, I loved it and knew I had to bring out the image. Working in the present without a preconceived outcome opened up a new creative state of mind. I love it when images appear from nothing as I often see in everyday surroundings.
