New Brighton Lighthouse Painting Inspiration
After Painting the Egmont Key Lighthouse, I was on the lookout to paint another. That is when I ran across a beautiful reference photo from Jon K Barton from England. Since I’m not familiar with the background on this lighthouse, I did some digging and found out that right about the time I painted this it was lit for the first time in 42 years. I hope that you are as amazed and glad that these lighthouses are being lit again as I am. Sea lovers can probably relate that between my years spent residing in Florida, working on a boat and love for the enchanted sea that has attracted me to these lighthouses.
