Marietta Carriage Ride Description

Marietta Carriage Ride was inspired by our local horse and buggy that takes patrons for a nice ride around the Historic Marietta Square in Marietta, Georgia.

Marietta Carriage Ride Inspiration

During a nice summer day, while checking my PO box in Marietta, this beautiful horse was behind my car. Not long after, I started painting live at RobertKent Galleries and saw them passing by. I snapped a cell phone shot and with the permission of the owner Clint, I proceeded to paint it soon after.  His horse is named Dan and come to find out they actually live right down the street from me. He has had his horse, Dan, since it was a colt.

I’ve since seen Dan and his horse nearby while hiking at Kennesaw Mountain. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
