Empowerment Seagull Painting Description

This seagull painting is titled Empowerment and represents chapter 13 in my recently published book and art exhibition titled My Wild Life.

Based on a pelican I personally sighted, I chose this pelican because through my research I discovered that Pelicans are symbolic of teamwork and loyalty to each other. It also represents empowering us with determination and teaches us when to release negativity that may be holding us back.

This is a chapter about a time when I was almost homeless and friends stepped up to help during desperate times.
