Painting Description

This collectible painting titled, Contemplation, graces the cover of the My Wild Life book. With the woman figure drawing stored in my portfolio for nearly 30 years, it wasn’t until this book cover formed that I decided what to do with her. I knew it was special, but it took until now to decide how I would utilize it.

About the Cover

This image was chosen to grace the book cover because the woman represents contemplating life-changing decisions while the lion represents inner strength and courage.

This painting has based on a lion I saw at Caribbean Gardens, a conservatory zoo in Naples, Florida, However, it is changed with my imagination to blend with the woman who was drawn created from imagination. All of my images are hand-drawn then painted to my liking.
