Baby Painter

This painting is about those moments when a young child is innocently creating a mess, but the parent steps back to realize it’s not intentional and just has to laugh.

This was recreated from a photo I took of my best friend’s grandchild combined with my imagination from a story my mother told me about being found painting in my baby bed.

It’s a fun memory for my mom, but I have no recollection of it. However, I do love the moment she said we laughed it off. That is something we have to do at times as a parent.
