Tina’s Fine Arts Hurricane Ian Fundraiser

Upcoming Hurricane Ian Art Sale Fundraiser

After recently being chosen the USA Southeast Region Artist of the Year for making a positive impact on the community with my inspiring art and self-published book, I’ve decided to continue making a positive impact by hosting the Tina’s Fine Arts Hurricane Ian Fundraiser this Sunday, October 16th, 2022.

Why I am Driven to Help

Firstly, a large amount of the population in southwest Florida has lost their homes, cars, and personal possessions.  Many insurance companies aren’t covering everything, and due to the amount of damage, the clean-up is no speedy process. Adding to these stressors, nearly every Fort Myers Beach business that people depended on for their livelihood was washed away.  It is also taking a huge mental toll on many. The Associated Press reported some are taking their lives. Some of my friends have lost everything. One just started moving into her Naples home after rebuilding from Hurricane Irma. Another friend who rented on Fort Myers Beach is experiencing PTSD. He lost everything and his renters insurance isn’t covering it at this time. Many have no home or job to go to because they were completely destroyed. I am excited about this opportunity to help those in so much need.
This disaster has deeply touched my heart because following the time I started earning my way in my adult life working many places on Fort Myers Beach, I moved to Naples for a grown-up position managing a Real Estate company that I helped grow from 15 to 50 agents. After a few years there, both of my children were born in Naples.
When I self-published my book, “My Wild Life” I had a dual purpose. In addition to documenting my art journey, I wanted to encourage people to overcome traumas and challenges to reach their highest potential, something I remain passionate about.

Why I am choosing to Donate 30%

Most of all, I want to be as generous as I can. For starters, I am marking a lot of my art with a deep discount for this project.  With that being said, I am still donating 30% of my proceeds to help the hurricane Ian victims. That will leave me just enough to cover my expenses and some of my time since most of my work takes many dedicated hours to complete.

Where I Plan to Donate the Funds

The Florida State Disaster Fund and possibly the Harry Chapin Food Bank.

I am choosing the Florida State Disaster Fund for many reasons. In addition to building a temporary bridge in under 3 days to restore access to Pine Island,  they are providing the following:

  • Mental Health Resources
  • Search and Rescue
  • Meals and Water
  • Pet Food and Supplies
  • Health and Human Services
  • Power Restoration
  • Emergency Repairs

Please join me in helping spread the news so we can help those in need.

Tina Stoffel

As seen reflected in her paintings Tina A Stoffel connects deeply with nature, animals, and music. As explained in her upcoming book, creating art has been Tina's lifelong passion. She says creating art has a meditative effect, bringing her peace and happiness where time often seems to disappear. Tina's goal is creating work that brings that same peace and happiness to others along with generating environmental and animal awareness. Her subjects are primarily focused around seascapes, beaches, wildlife and animals. She takes great pride in the quality of her work, often stretching her own canvases and using professional quality artist materials.
