As discussed in my book, My Wild Life, there was a time in my life when I was going to settle for for much less. By listening to the doubters and the naysayers, I thought I couldn’t be successful moving to Florida and pursuing my art as a career.
As with many of us there came a time in my life if where there was a turning point. Although I’m currently in Georgia due to my husband’s work, I did manage to move to Florida and made a wonderful life for myself there.
Once our children started heading towards middle school I started pursuing my art and could not be happier. Below is an update of the bear I’m currently painting. I’m now getting around to adding the details. Thank you to the wildlife photographer Bob Barton for the outstanding reference.
The moral of this story is when you know what your true desires and dreams are, those things that really light you up, don’t ever give up on them because that’s what will bring you true happiness.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
