Sunce recently I was nominated and chosen Georgia Artist of the year, I’m on my first trip ever to New York city.
Although I’ve been here less than 24 hrs, it’s been very exciting already.
Before my photo shoot this morning, I took a stroll around a few blocks discovering this amazing firefighter mural. Wow! The detail is incredible.
Many exciting historical events took place at the Lexington hotel where I’m staying. The photo below explains them.
Of course after my video interview and photo shoot, I visited Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio’s suite. How cool is that?
I deeply contemplated making this trip since my husband was released from the hospital a little over a week ago following a Type A anneurism burst, a stroke, and sepsis.
Thankfully our oldest son and mother in-law stepped in to help so I could make it happen. Plus, I’m only on town 2 1/2 days.
I’m excited to share more details after I get my photos in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for following and being patient with me these past two months while my husband was in Cardiac ICU. He is now a miracle and on the mend.
