Hiding in the Toy Box Illustration
It wasn’t quite the fun game of Hide and Seek you may be thinking about this Hiding in the Toy Box Illustration.
Nearly every time I became sick as a child, my grandma, who was a nurse, would give me a big fat shot of penicillin in the behind.
Here is the excerpt from this incident discussed in my upcoming book, titled My Wild Life.
“Mema gave me most of my vaccinations and penicillin nearly every time I was sick, and that was a lot until I had my tonsils removed when I was around eight years old. To this day, I still have a huge needle phobia. As a matter of fact, once I hid in my toy box from her to avoid getting a shot”.
Currently, I’m working on the last 5 paintings and the editing process. Since this book is based on persevering through difficult circumstances, I feel it will be helpful to those affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic. My goal is to get an e-book version released ASAP. It will contain sketches, but not the actual completed works.
