Childhood Abuse Art

Childhood Abuse

Most people that know me, know I’m a rather happy person. What they don’t know is that I experienced multiple forms of childhood abuse as a child. To be clear, this was not a parent, but a trusted caretaker that I have since forgiven.

One of the forms of abuse I experienced was being locked in a basement as a toddler. It was a frightening experience.

More About Childhood Abuse

Read more about this incident and the negative impact it had on me in my upcoming book titled My Wild Life. This sketch will be on display at the October 10th exhibition and book release.

This is why I choose to be a happy person and paint bright colorful paintings. I’ve experienced the other end of happiness enough in my life that I consciously chose to put it behind me and live a happy fulfilled life.

I hope to see you at the exhibition. Numbers are limited due to COVID-19, so we are requesting you reserve your spot.  Find out more information on the My Wild Life Page.

If you know of someone that would benefit from this post, please share it.

Wishing you all the best,

Tina A Stoffel

Tina Stoffel

As seen reflected in her paintings Tina A Stoffel connects deeply with nature, animals, and music. As explained in her upcoming book, creating art has been Tina's lifelong passion. She says creating art has a meditative effect, bringing her peace and happiness where time often seems to disappear. Tina's goal is creating work that brings that same peace and happiness to others along with generating environmental and animal awareness. Her subjects are primarily focused around seascapes, beaches, wildlife and animals. She takes great pride in the quality of her work, often stretching her own canvases and using professional quality artist materials.
