Adjusting My Wild Life Project Plans
After consulting with my art coach and consultant, I’ve decided that I’m adjusting My Wild Life Exhibition plans.
These new plans include releasing some of my sketches such as the one below. There will be a funny Easter story that goes along with this sketch once it’s completed.
Initially, I was going to include a painting for each chapter of my book along with several additional sketches. However, I wasn’t sure the sketches would make it in the book in time.
My art coach strongly urged me to proceed with releasing the book. I struggled because the art and the book are so closely related. Plus, several people were traveling from out of town for the now postponed My Wild Life Exhibition.
Further Adjusting My Wild Life Project Plans With Sketches
For now, I’ll be working on some of those sketches which I plan to release in an e-book version.
Everything for this project has been drawn by hand. I do not trace any of my work unless it is something that I’ve already drawn by hand being transferred to quality stock paper as an image above. It’s all drawn from the way I see it as an artist. Sometimes it’s sketched on paper first other times I go directly to the canvas.
Although we’re still in the middle of the pandemic and no one has any answers, we’re hoping to have the My Wild Life exhibition in the fall.
Once we are able to have the exhibition, I will release a collector’s edition hard copy of the My Wild Life Book.
