A Piece of my Heart

Take a Piece of My Heart

A Piece of My Heart  are the first paintings I’ve created since that taking last month off due to my husband’s major back surgery followed by COVID.

The Process

Intending to create trailing flowers, I started with two 6 x 6-inch canvases placed vertically on top of each other (see below) that could be displayed that way. Once I did the other side, I somewhat mirrored the shape of the other side and started seeing the mirrored trailing flowers as a heart, so I worked on it to enhance it a little while diminishing some extra greenery I had at the top.

Upon finishing, I realized this can make such a nice gesture to good friends, a partner, or family members. What a great idea for a family of four, or our parents, or siblings.

A Piece of My Heart Complete

These paintings are like a puzzle and I noticed even I mixed them up when I started to photograph them. Therefore, they are each marked on the back to help with placement.

Where to view and purchase A Piece of My Heart

Along with some other small florals I have, these little gems will be available in Atlanta, Georgia at the Art Haus Group exhibition Next Friday, February 11, 2022 from 7-10 pm. If you are interested, we can put a sticker on them or I can create something similar for you.

Meanwhile, I’ve reworked my recent bear painting. I’ll post it next.

Tina Stoffel

As seen reflected in her paintings Tina A Stoffel connects deeply with nature, animals, and music. As explained in her upcoming book, creating art has been Tina's lifelong passion. She says creating art has a meditative effect, bringing her peace and happiness where time often seems to disappear. Tina's goal is creating work that brings that same peace and happiness to others along with generating environmental and animal awareness. Her subjects are primarily focused around seascapes, beaches, wildlife and animals. She takes great pride in the quality of her work, often stretching her own canvases and using professional quality artist materials.
