New Bear Painting
About This Bear Painting Titled Free Flowing
When I was creating the 16 paintings and writing my book, My Wild Life, I started this new bear painting now titled Free Flowing. At the time, I did not finish it because I realized I had started it on a 24 x 30-inch canvas instead of the intended 30 x 30 which fit along with how the rest of the exhibition pieces were planned to be displayed.
After sitting for over a year I decided to finish this painting with a different twist than the sold one that actually was in the exhibition.
Every time I thought I was finished and professionally photographed it, I saw something I wanted to tweak, add or change up a bit. I went through this about 4 times before I was satisfied with it.
The title came to me because of the flowing river and the free-flowing symbolism of water reminding us to flow with life’s currents rather than swimming against them.
All of my work is hand-created without tracing images. Thank you to the talented wildlife photographer, Bob Barton for this wonderful reference.
Due to agreements with various art galleries, my prices are now hidden. Please contact me or the appropriate gallery directly with any inquiries you may have.
Thank you
