In reply to Anonymous. Thank you so much. I found out there were two giraffe calves at the Maryland Zoo. This one is actually Willow. Although I was sad for Julius, it made it easier to complete little Willow.

In reply to Anonymous. Thank you. I didn't realize that I actually bonded so much with this little sweet baby through the painting. I suppose when you paint every spot and curve on their face you can't help but get attached to the animal itself. Can you imagine how hard it was for the staff? Thanks for taking time to comment. I'm going to try to finish the painting tomorrow.
